The Sonoran Desert Toad is located in the southwestern United States in New Mexico, Arizona and parts of California. It is also located in northern Mexico.

Diet

The Sonoran Desert Toad will feed on insects, spiders and small mice.

Habitat

The Sonoran Desert Toad will burrow underground, in abandoned rodent tunnels if available.

Size

Approximate size of a Sonoran Desert Toad: 4 - 7 inches.

Reproduction

After mating, large amounts of eggs are laid by the female toad in available watersources such as streams, ponds or temporary pools. Tadpoles hatch within two days to under two weeks.
