Cactus Wren - Cactus wrens are found in parts of Southwestern United States and down into Northern and Central Mexico. They build their nests in the spines of cacti, and feed on insects, fruits and seeds.

Greater Roadrunner - Greater Roadrunners live in desert and plains regions from parts of southern Arkansas down to Mexico. They eat lizards, fruits, insects and seeds.

Lappet-Faced Vulture - Lappet-Faced Vultures live in deserts in Africa and Arabia, and have an almost skeleton-looking face. There, they are opportunistic scavengers, and feed on dead animals and carcasses.

Ostrich - Ostriches are tall birds with long necks that live in deserts and savannas across Africa. They do not fly but can run fairly fast. They eat vegetation as well as small bugs and animals.
